More than 70 vets and advisers interested in udder health and milk quality from more than 10 different countries from Europe and beyond exchanged knowledge & experiences with like-minded peers from all over the world at the MEX ConneXion Event 2019.  After the success of the first event, it is our pleasure to announce that the second MEX ConneXion Event 2020 will be held in Gent (Belgium) on 17 - 19 November 2020.

 

The goal of the MEX ConneXion Event is to connect and bring together like-minded peers passionate about udder health and milk quality in order to exchange knowledge & experiences in making mastitis management easy, successful and sustainable in an inspiring & nicely orchestrated event.

 

Similar as all other trainings organized by MEX™, and inspired by the successful meetings previously organized by M-team UGent, the lectures, Mastermind sessions and trainings given at the MEX ConneXion Event will be practical, hands-on & to-the-point tailored to dairy practitioners and consultants.

OUR HISTORY

MEX™ is a spin-off of Ghent University’s M-team (www.m-team.UGent.be).  Driven by passion, inspired by science and strengthened by experience, the team at MEX™ works hard to create holistic, integrated solutions for easy mastitis management. Inspired by the successful meetings organized by M-team UGent such as the heifer mastitis conference in 2007, the seminars on coagulase-negative staphylococci in 2010 and 2017, and the first regional NMC meeting outside North-America in 2014, and after a very successful first edition, we are ready for the second MEX ConneXion Event. 

THE EVENT

As was proven by the first edition, the MEX ConneXion Event brings together a unique group of veterinary practitioners and dairy consultants with an interest in udder health and milk quality from Europe and beyond that want to connect and exchange knowledge & experiences on udder health and milk quality with like-minded peers.

3 interactive days with an on-farm workshop, keynote lectures, mastermind sessions, a Connnect, Learn & Experience network session, and a Culture In Practice Training.

    • Pre-event workshop: On farm workshop
    • Social event: Guided city tour through the city of Gent (Belgium)

  • DAY 2: Wednesday 18 November 2020

    • ConneXion Day: Key note lectures, mastermind sessions, and an orchestered network session
    • Conference dinner: Dinner in the ancient city center of Gent

  • DAY 3: Thursday 19 November 2020

    • Post-event "Culture In Practice" training: Hands-on training on bacteriological culturing of milk samples
